In 2019, our church was looking for a global mission to support. The world is big, so choosing an area to focus on can be a difficult task. After a lot of thought, our church leaders realized they were overlooking the obvious place- the Philippines. One of the elders at this church was actually from the Philippines. Our Pastor began to pray and discuss the global missions initiative with his mentors and friends. This is when he was introduced to Willy & Vicky, who are Filipino and living in the Philippines. Willy & Vicky had been serving local children in the Philippines through music, Bible stories, prayer, and food. After a few emails back and forth, Adam and Willy started a friendship and partnership to serve a greater cause: Spreading JESUS! One Sunday in May 2019, the partnership was announced in church and why the Philippines was chosen. It is in this very moment that our story with the Philippines began as well. 

Fast forward to 2026. So far, our team has been able to support missions in the Philippines by providing funds for Christmas parties, contributing essential supplies for Willy and Vicky's ministry, and sending a team over twice to meet the children and see first hand the work being done.

Mangga Missions was formed in 2026 after The Parker Family's third visit to the Philippines. We are now focusing on moving forward by providing child sponsorships, monthly support for Willy & Vicky, and prayerfully, a physical church building!
